TIMAEU CLUB. ItAKEIEU V. SINGLE. This match was resumed at the S.C.A.A.C.’s ground this afternoon. There was great delay in making a start, the Single taking the wickets at 3.5 p.m. D’Emden and M. J. Godby were the first to act on the defensive, C. Perry and Frazer bowling. Three overs were given, off which six apiece wore obtained, but a slow one from Fraser, which D’Emden skied, secured the latter’s retirement —the bowler easily holding the same. The brothers Godby then entered in partnership, but Fraser repeated his performance regarding a hit by M. Godby, the indicator shewing 20 —2 —lO.Mansfiel dfillod the vacancy, and Godby having added another to his score, was clean bowled by a shooter from Frazer2l —3—-3-IC. T. H. Perry went in, and Mansfield hit one to leg, but in attempting to make his score two, was run out 22 —4 —l. Lougli was the next single representative, and Perry then scored his first, a single, Lough followed suit with a three and two balls later hit a double put iuj making an extra on a bye was run out 28 —5 —5.
