• A juvenile was apprehended shoplifting on Monday and in an unrelated incident another juvenile was reported to Youth Aid after being found unlawfully in a yard by the ambulance station. • On Saturday morning a car skidded off the Desert Road resulting in an elderly woman being taken to hospital. • One local driver had a lucky escape from prosecution when he blew exactly 400 when stopped and tested for alcohol. A driver must exceed 400 to be prosecuted.
