Spiral Hill work over 2 years

The $1.3 million project to realign a section of Spiral Hill immediately north of Raurimu will start with $300,000 spent in the 1997-98 year, with the - rest being spent the following year. The project will improve the 65km/h area where there has been a "considerable number of crashes due to drivers losing control" according to Transit New Zealand (TNZ).
