Sunday 29 June was a day for some brilliant golfing, Mt Ruapehu majestically overseeing the days play from every angle. The scores will encourage everyone with club champs qualifying starting next Sunday. Senior men: 1st on 44, Roarer, Don Windle; 2nd B Drinkwater, 42; 3rd J Hammond, 40; 4th M Fraser, G Lind, 37. Junior men where the real scoring was: 1st on toss, Con Heinold, 44; 2nd Bill Taylor, 44 and junior birds nest; 3rd Neil Woods, 42; 4th Jason Boucher, 42; 5th N Wharry, 41. Ladies: 1st on toss P Mcllroy, 39; 2nd E Goldfinch, 39; 3rd B Dempsey, 38; 4th N Winter, 37.
