As I hold you close, We both gained strength, You smiled with your glass of ale, Never caused any harm. A win here , and there, On the pool table, A song on the way home, For your dog Snow, Waiting to guideyou home. One step forward, Two steps back, But always making it. Memories I'll always treasure, The last days and nights together, Always my pleasure, Life love and your silent heart, You gave me dad, When we meet again, I know you'll be there, Remaining in my lost heart, Are the golden memories, And my love for you, Your daughter and friend, Donna HANSEN MARTIN (HECK) Passed away on 24 June 1996, peacefully at home.
