Spiral Hill works next year?
Wonc on the proposed Raurimu Spiral Hill deviation to State Highway Four is earmarked for the 1997/ 98 year, Ruapehu District
councillors were told attheir last meeting. The news came after a question as to why the work had not yet started.
The council had been asked by Transit New Zealand to proceed with the RMA (consent) process so as not to hold up the physi-
cal works if they could be started this year.
