Eric Hooper from the Ministry of Works, Waiouru, works a digger to scrape another 30cm off the land next to the Old Station Road corner of Tohunga Road (State Highway 49). A strip about 110 metres long has been cut down three metres to allow vision along the road for people turning into Old Station Road. Previously, visibility was dangerously restricted.
