Sunday 4 May: A beautiful autumn day saw some good results for some of the 39 players while others just enjoyed an amazing warm and picturesque day, sprinkled with golf. Player of the day was up and coming youngster Sarah Lind with 43 stableford points, followed by new golfer Aroha Irwin on 38, third on a toss
Trish Mcllroy 37 from Jenny Murdie. Senior men saw birthday boy (46 today) Wayne Marsh first with 40 points, followed by Mike Fraser, 39 and third leave you phone on the 1 8th Dr Jim Corbett, 38. Fourth Dana Blackburn on a toss, 37. Junior men, bar person extraordinaire John Mcllroy first on 39 points, second Paul Beckett, 38, who needs sleep! and third more luck than duck shooting Ross Brown, 37. Fourth on a toss Patrick Cooper, 37. There were 6 twos for the day, an indicated of how the course is playing. Lucky membership number was 78. The course is closed Saturday 10 and Sunday 1 1 May for the men's 72 hole open matchplay tournament.
