Shooters practise for ducks
Sixteen shooters braved the weather conditions for the Waimarino Clay Target Clubs annual Duck Shooters Shoot. Shooters had varied targets from double fast mai- • lard, flighting greys, to landing paradise events. Highlight of theday was the Durvell doubles with Karioi paring off Sean Kennedy and Ted Bates. They cleaned up the competition with a perfect score after the shoot. Overall results: A Grade: 1st, J Dempsey; 2nd, J Grace; 3rd, T Taylor; B Grade: 1 st, E Sue; 2nd, G Brown; 3rd, S Kennedy; C Grade: 1st, T Bates; 2nd, C Wiggins; 3rd, A Fredricksen; Duck Grade: 1 st, S Wickens: 2nd, T Kennedy; Durvell Doubles: T Bates/S Kennedy.
