Learn lead lighting at night classes

Doug Eves, lead-light window maker from Raetihi , shows a gable arch window, which represents 36 hours of work. Mr Eves is running an evening class as part of the local community education classes at Ruapehu College. The class will start with the basics, with participants completing a small, stained glass window, incorporating glass cutting, leading, soldering and sealing. Then they will aim to increase their skills by working on their own projects. The class isjust one ofseveral regular and new courses available, with places still open for many.
