Holiday fun continues at Waiouru

The Waiouru Holiday Programme continued its successful activities this week with groups of children 1 0 years and over making up two teams for a great game of touch football at the rugby grounds last T uesday. Next day it was the younger children' s turn for fun with a favourite toy show at the Community

Centre. Over 40 children arrived with their toys, the majority being teddy bears which typically showed evidence of having been much-loved by their owners. Drinks and a "lucky dip" into the treat bag helped

all children feel like winners at the end of the show. Games and activities were run at the centre in association with the favourite toy show and these kept the children amused for quite some time.
