Waimarino Small Bore
The Waimarino Small Bore Club held its AGM on 7 April, with a very good attendance of both junior and senior members. An election of officers was held with the following positions filled as follows: president, Michael Maru; secretary/ treasurer, Adrienne Maru; range officer, Ken Summerhays; club captain, Donna McGrath; publicity officer, Jackie Henderson. It was decided to hold an inter-business shooting competition on 1 7- 1 8 May. Details will be advertised later. Three Waimarino shooters, Ken Summerhays, Michael Maru and Donna McGrath went to W anganu i and participated in a Town vs Country shoot. All three participants performed well and were pleased with their score with Michael shooting a personal best. The club night is on Mondays starting at 7.30pm.
