Dog Control Act 1 996 Policy on Dogs Public Notice to Dog Owners and Non-Dog Owners In accordance with the Dog Control Act 1996 (Section 10) the Council has prepared a draft Policy on Dogs in the Ruapehu District. Copies of the draft Policy are available for perusal at the Council's Offices and Public Libraries in Taumarunui, Ohakune and Raetihi. Written submissions will close at 5.00 pm on Friday 30 May 1 997 and should be addressed to: Dog Policy Ruapehu District Council Private Bag 1001 TAUMARUNUI Any person who make a written submission is entitled to an opportunity to be heard by the Council.
