SITUATIONS VACANT Early Childhood Community Worker (Temporary Position) Waimarino Area, based in Ohakune/Raetihi district Applications are invited from people with some knowledge and interest in early childhood education. The appointee will be employed for 22.5 hours per week, until 31 December 1997. The work involves fostering parenting skills, and promoting an understanding of the value of early childhood education. Experience in working in a bi-cultural situation would be an advantage. Some qualification in the area of early childhood education is desirable. The appointee must have access to reliable transport.
