A visitor takes in the Ohakune Mountain Ride tour, on a true mountain bike. The Ohakune Mountain Road was a playground for many on the weekend, after the recent snowfalls, which saw 10-15cm fall evenly on the mountain. Turoa customer services manager Hamish McPherson said the snow will hopefully cool the ground, preparing the way to build up a good base for the season. "If nothing else, it proves we can have a white mountain again!" he said.
