Donna Cranston and Ei Leen Voon have just returned from Australia, after competing in the June Bevan teams competition. Their New Zealand Central Districts team came home with bronze medals after finishing in third position. This was a great effort considering there were only four New Zealand teams and nine Australian teams Auckland were the winners. Both girls got seedings in the individual competition and made it to the semifinals in the doubles and Donna made it to the semi ' s in the mixed and quarter finals in the singles.
