Waiouru

• It has been a quiet week at Waiouru with Police concentrating their efforts on the roads. There were two crashes attended. The first occurred at 8.30am on Friday when a car left the road and rolled over a bank south of Waiouru. The driver has been charged with dangerous driving and excess breath alcohol. • The second occurred on Saturday when a car lost control on the Desert Road and rolled into a ditch causing minor injury to a passenger.
