Ohakune Primary School children a wait the opening of their school's new playground, installed last week. Weather dependent, the playground should be open this week once safety bark material is put in place. A Wanganui company installed the $13,000 equipment, paid tor in part from funds left over after Rangataua School closed. The last Rangataua Board of Trustees gave the money to Ohakune with the request that it be put towards new play equipment.
