Ohakune Badminton

The first night of badminton for the start of the season was on Monday night 24 March. A good tumout of players, old and new, enjoyed a good night. Nikki Rattray won the draw for free membership for the season. The club AGM will be on 1 4 April at 8pm on a club night. Juniors will start on Monday 24 April 6-7 at the cost of $1. Players are reminded to bring a change of shoes and their own racquets, plus $1 shuttle fee. Parents are also asked to pick up children at junior finishing time and no later. Two local girls, Donna Cranston and Ei Leen Voon, are currently competing in Australia in the June Bevan Trophy competition as well as the Australia/New Zeaiand Under 16 Individual Championships.
