Waiouru women test their adventure spirit

With a programme of rock climbing, high ropes, abseiling and other outdoor activities, eight women from Waiouru are enjoying the opportunity to test their limits. The Outdoor -Adventures for Women course is run by Marcus Fowler whose physical training background ensures that course participants are taught the required skills in a safe and careful environment. Some of the highlights of the course are provided by the inherent wonders of living in Waiouru. The background accompaniment of live firing during a mountain bike ride and crawling under barbed wire over a mud slide on the assault course were "awesome" experiences for to Jackie Hollis! v
