Resource centre closed

The Ruapehu Resource Centre, part of the "Bounce BaCk" campaign, closed this month, although its services continue. The centre operated from the council' s Ohakune office. The service is still offered by Ruapehu Enterprises Inc which managed the centre. The centre began operating in July last year and was to have run for three months but this was extended until March. Five Government agencies . Employment Services, Inland Revenue, Income Support, Business Development Board and the Community Employment Group - were all part of the centre.
