Rangataua's future meet
Rangataua' s future is the topic for discussion at a public meeting next Monday, organised by a small group of residents, at which the mayor, Weston Kirton will be present. "We want to see what the council has in mind for Rangataua and to give people a chance to say what they would like see happen," said Simon Smuts-Kennedy. He said while there are also some problems they want to discuss, such as hazardous drains, they want to make it a positive meeting. The aim is to help the council by letting the mayor know what it is that residents would like done, not necessarily straight away, but some time in the future. It was time to think about such things, given the development that is taking place in the village.
