Myrtle Spry's 80 years
Myrtle Spry is pictured with some of her numerous grandchildren, celebrating her 80th birthday on 8 March. Mrs Spry, born Myrtle Maho in Dannevirke on 9 March 191 7, she came to the Waimarino at 13 and lived at Rangataua , Erua, Karioi, Ohakune and in recent years, Raetihi. She and husband Tom had seven children, 27 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
