The objective of the position is to oversee Council's contracts and to act as a leader for the contract supervision team. Applicants should have an engineering qualification (at least NZCE or REA); proven experience in the management of staff or in the role of team leader; an excellent understanding of contracts and a contractual environment; 5-10 years engineering experience; strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to develop productive working relationships team members and contractors; computer and accounting skills. This is an opportunity to join a committed team of professionals and gain wide engineering and contracting experience.
