Mr Puny Contest

Contestants in the Mr Puny Contest at Waiouru Desert Gala 1997 are in line to win a colour television set if they are judged the least muscular young men in the region.

Other prizes include some novel awards relevant to the competition and these will be announced at the presentation ceremony. Currently the contest has vacancies for two additional contestants

and any puny young men aged 16-26 years may enter by telephoning 06-387-6111 extension 7918. Judging will be done by a panel of experts with consideration given to the results of a

public opinion poll taken at the Desert Gala.
