Major activities on the Desert Gala 1997 programme include: 9am Opening, 11am Kiddy Disco (4-8 year disco), 12.30pm Mr Puny Parade (casual wear), 1.30pm Teeny Boppers Disco (9-13 year disco), 3pm Mr Puny Parade (swimwear), 4pm Final Judging and Awards - Mr Puny Competition.
