Programme
Major activities on the Desert Gala 1997 programme include: 9am Opening, 11am Kiddy Disco (4-8 year disco), 12.30pm Mr Puny Parade (casual wear), 1.30pm Teeny Boppers Disco (9-13 year disco), 3pm Mr Puny Parade (swimwear), 4pm Final Judging and Awards - Mr Puny Competition. Lucky gate prizes drawn. The major Lucky Gate prizes include a 21" Colour Television and a selection of radios and appliances courtesy of Canteen Services, Waiouru. A wide selection of vouchers and projects supplied by local businesses will be presented as spot prizes throughout the day. Admission to Desert Gala 1 997 is $3 Adults and $1 Children.
