Last Wednesday there was a good turn-out for the start of the season and a singles night was played. Winner of the night was Dave Herewini after a play-off with Stephen Wallace who was runner-up. The highest start went to Stephen after a play-off with B J Rapana for a score of 1 40. Boma took the high score of 156 and Dave won the high finish of 107. Young Rangi Rapana Jnr scored the highest score of the evening with 1 7 1 , but missed out on the money because his father was too tight to put in a dollar. More Masters games results On Friday February 7 the competition commenced with the ladies and mens fours. The ladies team of Kaylene, Rosalyn, Chrissy and Stephanie, took the gold after a play-off with Wainuiomata. The mens team of Dave, Greg, Steven and Bomba couldn't match the high level of competition. On Saturday the pairs combination of Chrissy and Donna/Kaylene and Stephanie took a bronze in the ladies section but the highlight of the day was the pairs team of Dave and Greg, dropping only one game to eventually get to the final and take the gold. * The singles competiton was held on Sunday, with the only medal coming from Chrissy, who took the bronze in the ladies section by far the most consistent player in the club. The Waimarino Club picked up a total of 1 1 medals.
