Mainstreet critic

Following up on the latest news in the Bulletin, may I take the liberty of express-

ing my candid opinion regarding the Mainstreet project. As a long-term resident of Raetihi I am somewhat concerned as to the consequences which are going to affect us as ratepayers. I for one distinctly reject the proposal as to the planning of our mainstreet known as Seddon Street, Raetihi. In order to avert this costly affair, may I put it bluntly. There is no need to change the image of our street. We like it the way it is and we hope that it may retain its own identity. Raetihi Summit of Hukaroa.

M Rawiri,

Senior Citizen.
