Ohakune visitor centre in question
At tomorrow's Marketing Sub-committee meeting in Taumarunui the future of the Ohakune Information Centre is to be reviewed by Council as part of the on-going process of re-evaluation of structures and costs. According to a Council report "the current premises maintenance costs are un-
economic and the state of the building needs to be addressed in the very near future". The Council are to look into a number of options before "eommitting to a future resource that will require an economic investment of considerable scale".
