Waimarino success at Masters
Medals in competitions as diverse as pistol shooting to aerial golf, athietics to lawn bowls were brought home to the Waimarino from the New Zeaiand Masters Games held in Wanganui last week. Over 50 locals from the W ai marino were among the 7000 competitors from throughout New Zeaiand and overseas, competing at the Masters in sports such 7 as netball, snooker, volleyball, pistol shooting, polocrosse and other equestrian events, windsur ng, athietics, lawn bowls, Mght aircraft flying, darts and golf. With such a wide ra: 5e of sports played with va'rying levels of success, the Waimarino team leader nas asked for another week to collate local results.
