Prizes for Ohakune flower basket growers

Yates promotions manager Kathryn Tanner, atleft, with the Ohakune Garden Club hanging basket competition winners, from left Helen Robinson (1st), Brian Dowsett (2nd) and Bunty Palmer (3rd) outside Beedee's Cafe. About 30 baskets were enteredin the competition, which was a little down on the number hoped for, thanks to summer's cyclones and unseasonal snowy weather. The club plans to make it an annual event.
