• On Monday police arrested a Masterton man for theft of petrol from a local petrol station. • An 18-year-old female was also arrested by local detectives after making a false complaint of rape. • On Wednesday a report of threatening behaviour was received following an incident at the local hotel. • In the early hours of Saturday morning police attended a family violence incident at a Main Road address and enquiries are continuing to locate the offender who had left prior to the police' s arrival. • There was one crash attended Saturday morning on the Desert Road. The driver fell asleep and crossed the centre line colliding with another vehicle. He has been charged with careless driving.
