Touch Rugby
Four Waimarino people made the King Country Touch Rugby rep teams. Terry Taumata is in the mens open team. Chaana Morgan, Robert Tapa and Ashley Brown are in the under 1 8 mixed youth touch team. In late January these players are travelling to touch nationals in Palmerston North. Results for 28 November: Hotsteppers vs Traitez, 1-7; Stingers vs NBK, 5-*3; Frewgees vs Tauwaretoa, 7-1 ; Rebels vs Taihape, 8-3; Misfits vs Turoa Lodge Bob, 2-5; Touchtronics vs Subzero, 2-5. Draw for 5 December: 5.30pm Touchtronics vs Taihape; Subzero vs Turoa Lodge Bob. 6.10pm Stingers vs Hotsteppers; Frewgees vs Traitez. 6.50pm Rebels vs NBK; Misfits vs Tauwaretoa.
