The inclement weather experienced to date has kept the water temperature below that required for opening. REFUSE COLLECTION The Ruapehu District Council wishes to remind business operators in Ohakune and Raetihi that from 07 January 1997 Council will be enforcing its policy of collecting only official refuse bags. Refuse contained in boxes and unofficial bags placed on the kerb or elsewhere for collection will not be uplifted after 07 January 1997. Refuse contained in up to five official refuse bags will continue to be removed from the kerb at each Monday collection.
