Why so sad? No Brown Owl
Waiouru Brownies are in trouble. They've advertised unsuccessfully for a new 'Brown OwT, and if no-one comes forward soon they may have to go into recess. Spokesperson Maggie Vine said that the Pippins are also under threat and people are needed desperately. Volunteers don't need any specific experience and could work their own hours to suit. - "We just need somebody that remembers the fun that they had at Brownies," Maggie said.
