Great weather, heaps of enthusiasm from new riders together with new horse and rider combinations and other members riding their usual ponies were the ingredients for a most successful dressage day held by the Waimarino Pony Club held at Ian and Ann Rokes on Saturday 28 October. Results: Class 1, 12 years and under: 1st Natasha Nicolls, Cashmere; 2nd Virginia Morris, Galadriel; 3rd Connie Cooper, Ascot. Class 2, 1 3-1 5 years: 1 st equal Claire Hyland, Wise Guy and Natasha Richardson, Colonel Cadet; 3rd Marnie McGregor, Able Penny. Class 2 adults 1st Christine Tarrant, Master Bouf. Class 3, 1 6-20 years: 1 st Hanna Lord, Normandy; 2nd Kelly Godfrey, Scnapps; 3rd Glen Bourke, King. Class 3, Adults: 1st Evelyn Cooper, Silver; 2nd Helene Godfrey, Rubens; 3rd Evelyn Cooper, Jade. The weather was not as kind to the competitors as it turned quite cold. Results: Class 1, 10 years and under: 1 st Margaret Wenn, Street Kid; 2nd Wayne Smith, Sgt Pepper. Class 2, 11-13 years: 1st Hone Brausch, Howards Way; 2nd Bridget Plowman, Little Flick; 3rd Tessa Wright, Thunder; 4th Dianna Hommersham, Trampus.
