Major works for SH4
Realignment of State Highway Four at Spiral Hill, just south of Raurimu takes a step closer this month with Transit New Zealand calling for registrations of interest in the contract. The work consists of the reconstruction of 3.2km of road in two sections, one each side of Raurimu Road. Transit New Zealand is also calling for tenders for realignment work of 1.5km of SH4 on the Parapara Highway, 20km north of Wanganui, known as the 'Lawrences Realignment'.
