Thirteen members of the community met in Ohakune last Wednesday to discuss the future direction of an improved civil defence organisation. Stan Dulieu, the
recently appointed Civil Defence Officer for the Ruapehu District was. present and outlined the updated civil defence plan for the Waimarino. A fur- : ther meeting will be held on 1 1 1 November at 7.30 in
