Cranston in top NZ badminton squad

Donna Cranston has been rewarded for all the hard training she has put into her badminton over the last few years, having been named in the badminton New Zealand high performance programme in the 1996/97 Development Squad. By being named in this squad Donna is included in the long-term plans for the New Zealand international programme and has been identified as a player with the potential to represent New Zealand in the future. Donna and Eileen Voon are currently training for the June Beren Trophy in Australia next year, so Donna should be physically fit for her development squad which starts in January. All badminton finished yesterday and will restart about March 1997.
