Club Results for Sunday 1 5 September: A good field of 40 enjoyed a great day in excellent weather. The senior stableford competition was won by Don Windle with a return to form with 44 points edging out Jim Corbett on 43, Wayne Marsh 42, Barry Drinkwater and Steve Gray on40. In the Juniors Brian Hays on 41, Simon Barlow 40, Hugh Geraghty 40 and Joe Martin 38 took home the prizes. The Womens Division saw a return to form of Sarah Lind with 43 points, Lyn Drinkwater 38 and Jenny Murdie on 38. The semi finals were played in all divisions of the club champs. The finalists are Seniors Jim Corbett and Trevor Frederick, the intermediates Graham Link and Neil Leitz, Juniors Jason Whale and Alan Murdie, Junior B Dwayne Marsh and Brian Hays. Goldie Fraser and Bernice Frost. Lucky No. 1 8 A Pritt not struck and the Roarers Mug going to Don Windle. Next weekend is the 36hole strokeplay with the draw to be published in the Chronicle on Thursday and Friday.
