Drain piped
The Shannon Street Ohakune stormwater open drain should be piped by the end of October, the Waimarino Community Board was told last Thursday. The reason the work has not yet been done was because the contractor "changed his programme to proceed with other work", according to the Ruapehu District Council's roading asset manager.
