Ohakune Junior Badminton

Donna Cranston and Eileen Voon have once again been named to play for New Zealand Central Districts team in the June Bevan Trophy in Melbourne next year. This will be Donna' s third year in the team and Eileen' s second. Both girls will be playing in the New Zealand Under 16 championships in a few weeks time and have both

been seeded in the doubles combination, with Donna also being seeded number five in the singles and eight in the combines. On Sunday 1 September a small group of juniors travelled to the Wanganui Junior Championships. With Ben McMaster being runner-up in the under 12 boys singles and Ben and Kirsty Litt runner-up in the under 12 combines. Other players to compete were Vicki Cranston, Ema Bates and Ashantha Perera.

On Sunday 8 September 10.00am the Ohakune Juniors will be having their Junior Championships for all primary players. Starting at 1 2.00 the college will be holding their championships.
