$500 prize for Orautoha School
Orautoha School has won $500 to put towards their Telecom School Connection funds through a recent Edcom (education communications) competition. Edcom is a division of the Multi-Serve Education Trust, a major service provider to New Zealand schools which is supported by Telecom. It was established earlier this year
with 500 schools registered. Schools were picked at random to win twelve $500 prizes; to go towards their phone account; .towards their school Internet connection or for a multi-purpose computer telecommunications modem. Telecom representative Tom McArthur presented the prize to school principal Andrea Nola on Friday.
