Festival from art to party, from speed skiing to jazz
The "Fall-out Festival" kicks off this Wednesday with four days of art, music, style and snow. The "Winter Art Exhibition" has its opening at 7pm Wednesday 21 August at the Ohakune Railway Station. Paintings, sculpture and photographs will be on show, by local female artists Anne Stuckey, Cath McCall and Raana Ellen Mareikura. Also exhibiting is Justine Turnbull from the School of Fine Arts from Wanganui. Everyone is welcome to the opening on Wednesday night. The show will run through until Sunday, between 9am and 7pm. On Thursday night at Bar Tribe local vinyl heads and dedicated musos are invited to showcase their hot talent at the Ohakune DJ Jam. Interested persons can contact Paul on 385-8569.
