Deltina Taura practises using the telephone in an emergency with help from Raetihi firefighter John Compton. Fire safety was on the agenda for J1 and J2 classes at Raetihi Primary School last week with the visit of several local firefighters. The children were taught how to ' Stop, Drop and Roll' should their clothes catch fire, how to crawl under smoke, how to use the 111 system and generally how to be fire conscious.
