Tree thanks
• I am writing to thank you for your involvement in our 1996 Conservation week and our annual native tree planting at Jubilee Park. The day was a big success with conservation and the local community both being winners on the day. Without the help from the Ruapehu Bulletin and every one else who helped out, the event would not have got off the ground. Once again, thanks Nigel Hollands Department Of Conservation, Ohakune Field Centre The Bulletin welcomes letters to the editor. While nom de plumes are accepted, we prefer that a letter is published with the name of the writer. Letters should be typed, written on one side of the page only. Letters must be signed as well as having the writer's name written legibly, along with a street address and contact telephone number. The editor reserves the right to abridge or reject letters.
