Brian Eades and Ron Frew top-scored in the North/South direction at bridge on W ednesday night with Pauline Le Noel and Bob Taumataroa in second place. However, handicapping saw them relegated to second and third places with scores of 53.43% (61.67) and 46. 79% (54. 17) respectively. First place eventually went to Mark Hays and George Drayton on 58.87% (51.25). There was a shuffle around of positions in the East/West direction also, with top-scorers Tracy Ennis and Bill Te Karu dropping to third place with 54.44% (60.42). This meant Tephany Bennett and Sarah Hamlin moved up to first place and Cherie Arlidge and Jenny Odom moved into second with scores of 63.45% (58.33) and 57.50 (52.50).
