• In the early hours of 17 July Police were called to a disturbance at an address in Foyle Street. A number of people were spoken to but no offences disclosed. • A burglary was reported at a chalet in Moore Street, Ohakune. A television and microwave were amongst the property stolen. • A burglary was also reported at a chalet at 18a Matai Street, Ohakune, with a television being amongst the property stolen. • On Saturday Police attended a domestic dispute in Raetihi. The matter was resolved without any arrests having to be made. • On Sunday afternoon a car lost control on Shannon Street and ended up in a ditch. The female driver
did not have a drivers' licence. • About 8 pm Sunday night Police were called to a family violence matter in Raetihi. As a result a male was arrested for assaulting his partner. The victim suffered bruising to the upper arms. • This week Waimarino Police are conducting a child restraint campaign so people are asked to make sure children are properly belted up.
