Bridge

There was a good turnout at bridge on Wednesday night with a total of 20 boards played over five tables. Heather Cranston and Ron Martin won the NorthSouth Competition over John and Sandra Eades but handicapping saw a few positional changes. Eventual winners were Betty Hammond and Rita Kaiwhare with 53.03% (52.50) and Heather and Ron took second place with

50.84% (59.38). There were no position changes in the East-West direction after handicapping with Lauretta Eades and Brien Barlev being too good for the opposition with ascoreof 56.02% (54.38). Tracy Ennis and Bill TeKaru continued their good form taking second place East-West 52.06% (51.25).
