Ohakune Police are seeking persons to come forward who might have witnessed an assault which occurred at Margarita's Tapas Bar during the early hours of Sunday 30 June 1996. The victim was punched about the head and face area. The victim had very distinct purple-coloured short cropped hair. The assault occurred adjacent the ski racer machine.
